Bharat Manglani began their career in 1986 as a CSE at Wipro Infotech Ltd. In 1990, they became a Network Engineer at Brown University. Bharat then moved to Cabletron Systems in 1991 as a Project Lead. In 1994, they founded and became the CEO of NetGuru Systems, Inc. Bharat then founded and became the President of FootPath Corporation in 2000. In 2006, they founded and became the Director of Technology & Strategy at Bharat Oil & Waste Management Ltd. Bharat envisioned, researched, and started waste management facilities for hazardous waste, electronic waste, and municipal waste at three locations in India. Bharat founded and started Kanpur-Dehat, Akbarpur location with a secured landfill and HW Incinerator to serve the state of UP. Bharat also founded and started Roorkee, Uttrakhand (166 km from Delhi) HW Secured Landfill, Incinerator, eWaste Management, and waste to energy.

Bharat Manglani attended Delhi College of Engineering from 1982 to 1986, where they earned a BE E&C in Electronics and Communications. Bharat then attended the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth from 1988 to 1989, where they earned a MSEE in Electrical Engineering. In 2003, they attended Harvard University to study Portfolio & Risk Management.
