Jessie Rehwald

As a recent graduate from Carnegie Mellon University, Jessie holds a master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering, which was a follow up to her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering technology. Her love for the outdoors developed from an early age, as she was raised on a farm in rural British Columbia, which allowed her to spend much of her childhood camping, hiking, skiing, horseback riding, and swimming in the nearby river. Today, she resides in Vancouver, BC, and enjoys daily runs along the seawall, playing volleyball, and reading as much as possible. Her newest passion is geared toward smart urbanism and design, and its role in creating reinvigorated communities, greater social well-being, and a more sustainable future.

She holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering Technology and M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
