Ron Pragides

Ron Pragides is a limited partner at Footprint Coalition. Ron has also served as an advisor and investor for various startups, including 2tm (Mercado Bitcoin), 99rises, Allstacks, AlphaFlow, Ampaire, AngelList, Aspecto, Atrium, Autonomy, Cacheflow, Cake Equity, Canvas, Capbase, Capchase, Carta, Check, dragonboat.io, Exosonic, EyeRate, FlexClub, Giggster, Gorgias, Hacker Noon, Hum Capital, JOKR, Keywise AI, LeadIQ, Meratas, MetaMap, miggos, Momentum.io, Nacelle, Nelo, PeachPay, People.ai, Plato, Roofstock, Sprout, Terminal, Truv and Vareto. Ron was also an executive in residence at Terminal and the vice president of engineering at Carta.

Pragides began their career as a manager of application development at WeddingChannel.com before becoming a senior software engineer at Rendition Inc., which was acquired by Micron Technology Inc. Ron then spent nearly three years as a member of technical staff for graphics and imaging at Sun Microsystems. After Sun Microsystems they spent three years as a software design engineer for digital imaging venture projects at Texas Instruments. In 2009 they became the director of engineering at Twitter which they held for just over a year before moving on to become vice president of engineering at AppDirect in 2010. Ron Pragides has been with Footprint Coalition since 2019.
