Marcel Vargaestok

Marcel Vargaestok is a seasoned entrepreneur and managing director currently leading MADE IN JAPAN FURNITURE & HOMEWARES PTY LTD, the primary importer of Japanese ceramics and tableware in Australia since February 2024. As a co-founder of PIKITO Europe, Marcel influences e-commerce strategies, while also maintaining a significant role as a shareholder in Kulina.cz and Footshop. Marcel established Made In Japan - Europe for the European distribution of high-quality Japanese tableware and founded Chefparade, the largest cooking school in the Czech Republic, alongside Chefshop.cz and the Foodparade festival. Marcel's extensive experience in mentoring founding teams is highlighted through involvement with Founders Institute and Node5 in Prague. Marcel holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from Ekonomická univerzita v Bratislave.
