Goldie Junik

Social Worker at Footsteps

Goldie has been a Footsteps member since 2014 and she is so excited to bring her lived experience and professional training to the social work role at Footsteps. Since graduating from the New York University Silver School of Social work, she has been working in private practice. In her role as a psychotherapist, she provided weekly therapy to individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and grief, utilizing a mixture of cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic, and person-centered therapies. Most importantly, she approaches her practice with a trauma-focused lens, this allows her to show up with compassion and without judgment. She has experience working with clients of various backgrounds and mental health challenges and has provided individual and group psychotherapy. Goldie is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and is currently training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy.
