Omar Ruiz

Omar Ruiz is currently an unknown role at For Soccer Ventures. Prior to this, they were the Operations Director at BRC Group from February 2016 to December 2020. In this role, they were responsible for the logistics and operations for all sports-related activities within the group in the US and MX. This included the most complete soccer tryout programs and the biggest amateur soccer events in the US. Omar was also responsible for the planning and execution of the new initiatives for the tour, inventory and budget manager for our sports season, and strategic procurement and negotiation with venues and partners to guarantee success on events in the most important cities in the US including NY, SF, LA, among others. Omar played an active roll in the support to PR department to guarantee our client and sponsors' satisfaction. Some of their notable achievements include 100% achievement on performing under budget in 2016, 17, 18 & 19, improved the quality service on every supplier, both price and quality, and generated new alliances with new high quality partners, bringing higher profit to the company.

Before BRC Group, Omar Ruiz was Commercial & Business Advisor at CEMEX from June 2014 to February 2016. Prior to CEMEX, they were Demand and Project Planner at Philip Morris International from October 2012 to June 2014.

Omar Ruiz has a Master's degree in Sports from the Unisport Management School, a Diplomatura in Business Administration from the IÉSEG School of Management, and an Engineer's degree in Ingeniería industrial from the ITESO Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara.
