Omar Ruiz Velasco

Omar Ruiz Velasco has a strong background in operations and logistics, with experience in various industries. Omar worked as a Director of Events for For Soccer, where they planned and executed all events for the organization and managed budgets. Prior to that, they served as the Operations Director for Alianza de Futbol, leading logistic plans and negotiations with venues. Omar also worked as the Operations Director at BRC Group, overseeing logistics and operations for sports-related activities. Earlier in their career, they held roles as a Commercial & Business Advisor at CEMEX, providing strategies and guidance to business managers, and as a Demand and Project Planner at Philip Morris International, managing sales forecasts and supply chain planning. Omar also worked as a Process Engineer at HELLA, responsible for production lines and lean implementation.

Omar Ruiz Velasco holds a Master's degree in Sports from Unisport Management School, which was obtained from 2022 to 2023. Omar also completed a Grassroots Coaching Licence in Sports Studies from US Soccer in 2023. Prior to that, in 2011, they pursued a Master Course in Business Administration at IÉSEG School of Management. Omar began their education journey at ITESO Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara, where they earned an Engineer's degree in Industrial Engineering from 2006 to 2011.
