Hayden Steel has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Hayden worked as a Full Stack Engineer at For The Record (FTR) since 2022. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineer at Codebots from 2018 to 2022, where they focused on developing and maintaining new features of the Codebots product. Hayden gained valuable experience working in an agile team across various technologies.

Before that, Hayden worked at WorkingMouse from 2016 to 2018 as a Software Engineer. Hayden played a key role in scoping and developing web and mobile software solutions for clients from different industries. As a full-stack developer, they also had the opportunity to work closely with clients.

Hayden started their career at HealthCareLine in 2014, where they served as a Software Developer. Hayden was responsible for digitizing forms and processes for organizations and played a lead role in replacing a legacy PHP system with .NET.

During their university vacation periods, Hayden also gained internship experience. Hayden interned at GBST as a Software Developer Intern from 2015 to 2016, where they gained exposure to software development in the financial sector. Hayden also had an internship at Locatrix Communications in 2014, where they worked on app and web development projects, including creating a proof of concept iOS application and working with Bluetooth beacons.
