Laura Gompers is a seasoned recruitment professional with extensive experience in talent acquisition and strategic workforce planning. Currently serving as the Founding Recruiter and Talent Acquisition Manager at Fora Travel since February 2025, Laura established scalable hiring operations as the first recruiter. Previously, Laura held roles including GTM - East at Sigma Computing and Founding & Lead Recruiter at Obsess, where significant successes included growing the team by 186% in one year. Earlier experience includes recruiting for early-career roles at the City of Seattle and agency recruitment at Robert Half. Laura holds a Master’s Degree in DEI & People Management from the University of Washington and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona.
