Charles Rodgers is a seasoned professional in plant breeding and genetics, currently serving as the Senior Alfalfa Breeder at Forage Genetics International since May 2014, where responsibilities include leading a dormant alfalfa breeding program and implementing marker-assisted selection. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Manager at Ceres, Inc., focusing on breeding switchgrass and Miscanthus for biofuels, and as Director of Research at Seeds West, where Charles directed the largest privately funded Bermudagrass breeding program and developed the first seeded hybrid Bermudagrass variety.
