Zoey Sloate has an extensive work experience spanning several industries. Zoey currently holds the position of Merchant Operations Manager at Forage since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at CISA (Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture) as a Program Manager from September 2018 to June 2023. In this role, they managed CISA's "Local Food for All" program and provided technical assistance and workshops to farms, farmers' markets, and local food businesses. Zoey also built relationships and collaborated with partner organizations.

Zoey Sloate worked as a Business Analyst in Food Systems at DAISA Enterprises LLC from June 2019 to February 2020. Zoey also served as a Business Analyst in Fresh Demand Planning & Development at C&S Wholesale Grocers from July 2017 to August 2018.

Before entering the business field, Zoey Sloate held various roles at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, including Student Admissions Representative from December 2014 to May 2017, Marketing and Digital Communication Staff from May 2016 to September 2016, and New Student Orientation Leader from May 2014 to January 2015. Zoey also gained experience as a Co-Manager at Campus Design & Copy from October 2014 to May 2017 and as a Marketing & Food Systems Intern at RealFood Consulting, Inc. from June 2015 to August 2015.

Zoey Sloate began their professional career as a Supervisor at The Harrington Farm from June 2011 to September 2014.

Zoey Sloate completed their education from 2013 to 2017 at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in BDIC: Sustainable Food Systems & Operations. Zoey also pursued studies in the Isenberg School of Management, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Marketing. Additionally, Zoey completed a Minor in IT from the Manning College of Information and Computer Sciences at UMass Amherst.
