Kirby Yakemchuk, P.Eng., CEM has extensive experience in asset management and fleet services. Kirby currently holds the position of Vice President Asset Management at Forbes Bros. Group of Companies. Prior to joining Forbes Bros., they served as the General Manager, North America at MachineMax, where they were responsible for expanding into the North American market and managing sales and business development. Kirby has also worked as a Director of Asset Management at CEDA International and Ledcor Group, where they implemented asset management philosophies and managed strategic vendor relationships. Furthermore, they have served in various roles related to equipment planning and logistics at North American Construction Group and Finning (Canada). Kirby began their career as a Project Engineer at Master Flo Valve Inc., where they were responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards. Overall, Kirby Yakemchuk has a strong background in asset management, business development, and project engineering.
Kirby Yakemchuk, P.Eng., CEM, holds a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Alberta, which they obtained between 1996 and 2001. In addition, they are certified as a Professional Engineer by The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) since 2006, and as a Certified Equipment Manager by the Association of Equipment Management Professionals (AEMP) since 2016.
