Amy Thew

Amy Thew has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Amy is currently the Vice President Finance at Forbes Capretto Homes. Prior to this, they worked as CFO at Buffalo City Mission from 2019 to 2021. Before that, they served as Fiscal Controller at The Arc Erie County New York from 2018 to 2019 and Director of Accounting Health Related Services at People Inc. from 2015 to 2017. Amy also held the position of Financial Controller/CFO at Eye Care for the Adirondacks from 2011 to 2014. Additionally, they worked as an Executive Administrator/Chief Financial Analyst at IM Solutions from 2009 to 2010 and Office Manager at Northern Pine Financial Services from 2004 to 2009. In these roles, Amy demonstrated strong financial management skills, leadership abilities, and expertise in accounting and tax preparation.

Amy Thew earned their associate's degree in Accounting from the State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill from 1988 to 1990. Amy then pursued their bachelor's degree in Accounting at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh from 1990 to 1992. Later on, Amy obtained their master's degree in Accounting from Liberty University between 2007 and 2009.
