Gil Hoffer

Gil Hoffer is a seasoned technology professional currently serving as Co-Founder and CTO at Salto since January 2019, where the focus is on business app configurations and metadata management. With extensive experience in software development, Hoffer held the position of VP Software Development at Oracle from March 2016 to October 2018, overseeing engineering for Ravello as part of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Prior to this, Hoffer was VP of R&D at Ravello Systems from July 2011 until its acquisition by Oracle in 2016, and served as CTO for the IDF from February 2005 to January 2011, managing a large team of developers and setting technology standards. Hoffer's career began with roles in software development at Rafael and earlier positions in the IDF, culminating in a B.A. in Computer Science from Technion and an M.Sc. from Tel Aviv University.
