Michael Montecillo

Michael Montecillo is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Chief Security Architect in the Office of Security CTO at Oracle since September 2024. Holding a membership with the Forbes Technology Council since December 2022, Montecillo previously contributed to Walmart as an Engineering Fellow in Information Security from September 2021 to September 2024. Prior roles include Senior Director in Cyber Security, Privacy, and Forensics Advisory at PwC; Director of Cyber Defense at KPMG; and Security Intelligence Director for North America at IBM. Montecillo's career began with positions such as Offensive Security Leader for the State of Michigan and Principal Security Industry Analyst at Enterprise Management Associates. Michael holds a BA in Telecommunications from Michigan State University, a Master's in Information Assurance from Walsh College, a Chief Information Security Officer Certificate from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Cybersecurity Policy Certificate from Harvard Kennedy School.
