Amber Nigam is a seasoned professional in health technology and entrepreneurship, currently serving as a Mentor at the MIT Sandbox since August 2024 and as Co-founder and CEO of basys.ai since October 2021. Amber contributes to Forbes as a HealthTech Contributor, focusing on health policy, payer reimbursement, and innovative healthcare partnerships, with special attention to generative AI and healthcare affordability. Amber has held multiple mentoring roles at XLerateHealth, MassChallenge, and Techstars, and served as a Strategic Advisor at Happy Plum Mandarin Learning. Previously, Amber was an AI Instructor in the Biostat department at Harvard University and CEO of basys.ai during its incubation at the Mayo Clinic. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Health Data Science from Harvard University and cross-registrant studies at both MIT and Harvard Business School.
