Carlie Valerio

Carlie Valerio, CA(SA), currently serves as Senior Vice President of Internal Audit at Forbright Bank since May 2024. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Manager in Risk Advisory (Internal Audit and SOX) at CrossCountry Consulting from January 2019 to May 2024, and as Audit Supervising Senior at EY from January 2016 to December 2018. Carlie also contributed to education as an Academic Tutor for Corporate Governance at the University of Cape Town from January to November 2015 and taught English at Chungcheong Province Public Schools from April 2011 to November 2013. Academic qualifications include a Post Graduate diploma in Accounting and a Post Graduate diploma in Management from the University of Cape Town, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Humanities from Stellenbosch University.
