Maddie Dobbs

Maddie Dobbs has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Maddie started their career as an Intern at David Landau & Associates, LLC (DLA), where they learned about internal audit, forensic accounting, litigation support, and regulatory compliance. Maddie then worked as an Internal Audit Associate at DLA, where they evaluated the effectiveness of internal controls for clients. Maddie also worked as an Accounting Intern at Hemisphere Media Group Inc., completing financial statements for Canal Uno. Maddie later joined PwC as a Core Assurance Intern, assisting with audit preparation and data analytics projects. After that, they continued their role at PwC as a Core Assurance Associate, gaining experience in assurance services. Currently, they are a Corporate Finance Associate at Forbright Bank, responsible for underwriting new transactions and managing a portfolio of commercial loans.

Maddie Dobbs completed their education at Chatham High School, earning their high school diploma from 2010 to 2014. Maddie then pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting and Information Systems at Virginia Tech, which they obtained from 2014 to 2018. Following their undergraduate studies, Maddie Dobbs went on to complete a Master's Degree in Accounting and Information Systems at Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business from 2018 to 2019.
