Taryn Dougherty

Deputy General Counsel at Forbright Bank

Taryn Dougherty has over a decade of experience in the legal field. Taryn started their career as a Summer Legal Intern for the U.S. Department of Justice and later worked as a Summer Legal Intern for The Court of Common Pleas of Bucks County. Taryn then joined the Urban Development Clinic at Duquesne University School of Law as a Certified Legal Intern. In 2013, they became a Counsel at CapitalSource Bank for a year. In 2014, they moved to Pacific Western Bank, where they held various roles including Counsel, Vice President, Senior Counsel, and Vice President, Associate General Counsel. Taryn'smost recent experience includes working at Forbright Bank as a Corporate Counsel before being promoted to Deputy General Counsel.

Taryn Dougherty attended the University of Pittsburgh from 2005 to 2009, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science. In 2008, they also studied at Richmond, The American International University in London, focusing on History and Italian. Following their undergraduate studies, Taryn went on to attend the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University from 2009 to 2012, completing their Juris Doctor degree in Law.
