Matthew Barrett

Matthew Barrett, SPHR, is an experienced training manager with a strong background in employee development and management. Currently serving as the Training Manager at FORCE America since May 2023, Matthew is responsible for the development and coordination of company-wide training initiatives. Previously, Matthew held the position of Training Manager at UnitedHealth Group (2014 - 2023), overseeing a team focused on training for Payment Integrity. Matthew also served as Campus Director at ITT Technical Institute (2011 - 2014), where responsibilities included business plan development and leadership of key functional managers, and as Training Manager at Fairview Pharmacy Services (2010 - 2011), providing training for retail pharmacy staff. Earlier in the career, Matthew held management roles at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota (1998 - 2009), where responsibilities included resource planning and training operations for employee development. Academic qualifications include an M.A. in Human Resources & Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management and a B.A. in Psychology from Saint John's University.
