Abigail Johnston is a dedicated cancer advocate and legal professional with extensive experience in various organizations focused on supporting individuals affected by metastatic breast cancer. Currently serving on the Legal Advisory Council for Triage Cancer, an Individual Member of the Metastatic Breast Cancer Alliance, and a Member of the Patient Advisory Council for Friends of Cancer Research, Abigail brings valuable patient insights to these initiatives. Additional roles include RISE Legacy Advocate at the Young Survival Coalition, Volunteer with FORCE: Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered, Advisory Board Member and Advocate Mentor at GRASP, Director of Mentorship for Project LIFE MBC, and Board Member of SurvivingBreastCancer.org. Abigail also contributes content for Health Union, LLC, and organizes efforts at Connect IV Legal Services. Abigail holds a Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law and a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Central Florida.

FORCE Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of the millions of individuals and families facing hereditary breast, ovarian, pancreatic, prostate, colorectal and endometrial cancers. Our community includes people with a BRCA, ATM, PALB2, CHEK2, PTEN or other inherited gene mutation and those diagnosed with Lynch syndrome. We accomplish this through our education, support, advocacy and research efforts.
