Drue Gockel

Drue Gockel has a comprehensive work experience in the software development field. They started their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at Kansas State University in 2011, where they worked on genetic algorithms and studied the behavior of molecules in intense laser fields. In 2013, they continued their research as an Undergraduate Researcher, specializing in using laser fields to align asymmetric top molecules and extracting data from experiments.

In 2014, Drue worked as a Software Verification Engineer Co-Op at GE Aviation, developing automated testing procedures for flight management software on military and commercial aircraft. They focused on testing communication systems and the control system for aircraft steering.

From 2015 to 2015, Drue worked at Castle Creations as an Embed, and from 2016 to 2017, they served as a Software Engineer at Command Alkon.

Since 2017, Drue has been with DSI® as a Software Developer, involved in Python analytics development, managing ETL processes, Jenkins pipeline management, and React development. They held the role of Software Developer 3 from 2020 to 2021.

Currently, Drue works as a Senior Software Engineer at Force Therapeutics, starting in November 2021.
