Laurie Sherfey

Laurie Sherfey, PE, is a seasoned forensic structural engineer at Forcon International since August 2018, with prior experience as a structural engineer at the Naval Ordnance Safety and Security Activity where responsibilities included site certifications and enforcement of DoD ordnance regulations. At NAVFAC MidLant from November 2004 to August 2014, Laurie served as a supervisory structural engineer, overseeing design teams and managing the production of design services. Earlier, Laurie worked at NAVFAC Atlantic from July 1989 to November 2004, designing various structures for the Navy and Marine Corps and managing multi-disciplinary design teams. Laurie holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, obtained between 1978 and 1982.
