Dessida Snyder

Dessida Snyder serves as a Senior Grants Compliance Analyst at the Ford Foundation since 2005, previously holding the position of Grants Processing Analyst. In this role, Dessida reviews grant proposals to identify legal and technical issues, assesses potential reputational risks, and evaluates the charitability and suitability of activities. Collaborating closely with program staff and the Office of Legal Services, Dessida develops strategies to address identified issues and ensure compliance in grantmaking. Prior to this, Dessida worked as a Development Associate at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation from February 2000 to April 2001. Dessida holds a Master of Fine Arts from The City College of New York and a Bachelor of Arts from The Evergreen State College, with an earlier Associate of Arts degree from Bard College at Simon's Rock.
