Robert Montay, CFA has extensive work experience in various finance and investment roles. Robert began their career at Columbia University School of Professional Studies as an Adjunct Instructor from September 1998 to December 1999. After that, they joined Deutsche Bank as Vice President - Global Technology Services - Business Intelligence, where they worked from 1997 to 2001. Following this, they worked at Citigroup Asset Management Investments LLC as Director - Quantitative Operations between 2001 and 2006. Robert then joined The Atlantic Philanthropies as the Head of Investment Reporting and Due Diligence in 2006 and served in this role until 2012. Currently, they are serving as the Head of Investment Operations at Ford Foundation since July 2013.

Robert Montay, CFA has obtained a LLB (Honours) degree in Law from the University of London. Robert has also completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University's School of Engineering. Additionally, they hold a Master of Architecture degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology's School of Architecture and Urban Planning. Robert has achieved the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute. Moreover, they have pursued further education in the field of Database Application Development and Design from Columbia University's School of Professional Studies. Robert has also acquired the Certified Treasury Professional designation from the Association for Financial Professionals. Lastly, they have obtained the Certified Specialist of Wine credential from the Society of Wine Educators.
