Roy Swan

Roy Swan has a diverse and extensive work experience. Roy is currently the Head of Mission Investments at the Ford Foundation, where they lead efforts to develop a more inclusive form of capitalism that prioritizes purpose alongside profit. In addition, they are an Oversight Group Member at the Church Commissioners for England and a Sustainability Expert Advisory Council Member at KKR. Roy serves as a Board Member for multiple organizations, including PARNASSUS FUNDS, Varo Bank, Aequi Acquisition Corp., SASB / Value Reporting Foundation, SASB Foundation, Low Income Investment Fund, and Enterprise Community Partners. Their roles in these organizations involve strategic decision-making and governance.

Roy Swan attended Princeton University from 1982 to 1986, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at Stanford Law School from 1989 to 1992, obtaining a Juris Doctor (JD) degree with a specialization in Law.
