Derek Rugge

Derek Rugge is an experienced engineer and professional with a diverse background in the automotive and military sectors. Currently serving as a Site STA Engineer for Powertrain at Ford Motor Company since August 2021, Derek previously held the role of Buyer for transmission carriers, clutches, sprockets, and bearings. Before this, Derek was an Aircrew member in the US Navy from January 2021 to August 2021 and served in a leadership capacity as President of the Student Veterans Association at Michigan State University from September 2020 to December 2020. Additional experience includes working as a Personal Fitness Trainer and a Purchasing Intern at Ford Motor Company, along with leadership in sponsorship and fundraising for the MSU Shooting Team. Derek Rugge completed studies at Michigan State University's Eli Broad College of Business from 2018 to 2021.
