John Polasek

John Polasek is a highly experienced engineer with over three decades of expertise in the automotive sector, primarily at Ford Motor Company since June 1992. Currently serving as the Global Chief Engineer for Truck Platforms, Polasek leads the design and development of various truck programs, including notable models such as the F150 and Super Duty. Previous roles at Ford include Global Chief Engineer for Lincoln and Chief Engineer for the Focus. Additionally, Polasek has held management positions in powertrain and vehicle engineering. Earlier in their career, John worked at Detroit Diesel Engines, focusing on alternative fuel design, and at the US Environmental Protection Agency, where regulations for diesel emissions were developed. Polasek holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
