Mazen Hammoud is an accomplished engineering leader at Ford Motor Company, with extensive experience in propulsion strategy and planning, transitioning from internal combustion engines (ICE) to battery electric vehicles (BEV). Since 1998, Mazen has held various leadership positions, including Director of Global Propulsion Strategy and Planning, where the focus has been on reducing EV battery costs and securing capacity. Prior experience at GM involved leading engine combustion system development for the Small Block V8. Mazen holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Organizational Behavior, complemented by multiple engineering degrees from leading universities, along with a range of patents and publications in engine technology.
