Selcuk Atalay is an accomplished engineer specializing in battery cell modeling with extensive experience in both industry and academia. Currently serving as a Staff Battery Cell Modeling Engineer at Ford Motor Company since June 2024, Selcuk previously held the position of Principal Battery Modeling Engineer at the University of Warwick - WMG from March 2023 to June 2024. Prior to that, Selcuk worked at Britishvolt as Principal Battery Modelling & Simulation Engineer and Team Lead from April 2021 to March 2023, and at A123 Systems as a Senior Battery Modeling Scientist from March 2019 to May 2021. Earlier experience includes roles as Research Assistant Professor and Research Fellow at the University of Warwick - WMG from July 2017 to March 2019.
