Sheng Chen

Sheng Chen is an experienced aerodynamics and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) engineer currently working at Ford Motor Company as an Aerodynamics CFD Engineer. Previously held roles include Automotive Structures FEA Engineer at Multimatic and Structures and Aero Analysis Lead at Ontario Tech Racing, where Sheng managed a team, optimized vehicle performance through CFD and wind-tunnel testing, and developed thermal performance models for electric vehicle (EV) battery systems. Other notable experiences include an internship in CFD analysis at Multimatic, focusing on aerodynamics for high-performance vehicles, and work as a Quality and Technical Engineering Intern at BMW Group. Educational achievements include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with Highest Distinction from Ontario Tech University, and ongoing Master's studies in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Windsor. Additionally, Sheng served as Team Captain for the Ontario Tech University Varsity Badminton Team.
