Bilge Baran

Bilge Baran is a seasoned professional in powertrain program and project management with a strong background in both internal combustion engine (ICE) and battery electric vehicle (BEV) systems. Since August 2016, Bilge has excelled as a Product Development Leader at Ford Otosan, contributing significantly to powertrain controls and management. Prior experience includes roles at FEV Turkey, where Bilge was integral to the new Transit Connect launch and emission regulation compliance. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Energy Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Middle East Technical University, complemented by a Bachelor of Business Administration from Istanbul University. Additionally, Bilge's early career involved various internships that provided foundational skills in engineering and project support.
