Jason Benedict

Jason Benedict is a seasoned information security professional, currently serving on the Customer Advisory Board at BitSight since 2021. As Associate Vice President for IT and Chief Information Security Officer at Fordham University since 1998, Jason oversees the development and implementation of comprehensive information security and risk management programs, ensuring the protection of critical assets. Jason has also held the role of Executive Director of the Information Security Office, where a culture of security was fostered, and operational responsibilities across various domains of IT security were maintained. Previous experience includes serving as Director of Computer Services at Noble Insights and Director of Information Systems and Planning at Fordham Law School. Jason holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Information Technology, supplemented by leadership training through the Society for Information Management and the FBI CISO Academy.
