Keith Cruise

Professor Of Psychology, Director Of Clinical Training at Fordham University

Keith Cruise has extensive work experience in the field of psychology and juvenile justice. Keith currently serves as the Co-Director at the Center for Trauma Recovery and Juvenile Justice (CTRJJ), where they support the development and implementation of evidence-based, trauma-informed services for youth with justice system involvement. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Behavioral Health Screening Services at the National Youth Screening & Assessment Partners. In addition, Keith has held academic positions at Fordham University, where they taught courses in clinical psychology and served as the Director of Clinical Training, and at Sam Houston State University as an Assistant Professor. At Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center Juvenile Justice Program, they worked as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Public Health, coordinating research activities and serving as a program research liaison. Keith's expertise includes clinical psychology, clinical-forensic psychology, and mental health assessment and treatment.

Keith Cruise has a PhD in Clinical Psychology, which they obtained from the University of North Texas from 1995 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed a MLS degree in Legal Studies at the University of Nebraska from 1993 to 1995. Keith also holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, which they earned from 1989 to 1993. In addition, they obtained certifications as a Psychologist from the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health in February 2012 and from The University of the State of New York Education Department Office of the Professions in January 2006.
