Oscar Oliver-Didier serves as the Head of the Built Environment track and Clinical Assistant Professor at Fordham University since January 2018, also teaching courses such as Designing the City and Architectural Language. As a Founding Board Member of The Shape of Cities to Come Institute since December 2022, Oscar is involved in urban activism to promote equitable cities. With extensive experience, including roles as Director of CIUDADLAB since August 2004, Senior Lead Urban Designer at the NYC Department of City Planning from January 2015 to November 2020, and Assistant Professor at the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico, Oscar contributes significantly to urban research and design education. Academic qualifications include a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University and ongoing PhD studies in American Studies at New York University.
