Cristina Machado is a Solar and Storage Analyst in Asset Management at ForeFront Power since March 2024. Previously, Cristina served as a System Engineer at Enphase Energy, where responsibilities included designing a MATLAB model for solar energy systems and automating firmware upgrades for embedded systems. Cristina's experience also includes conducting research at Duke University's RIR-MAPLE Perovskite Lab, optimizing hybrid materials and achieving 12% efficiency in perovskite fabrications, and leading community projects as an Alice M. Baldwin Scholar. Further roles at Duke involved teaching math, guiding prospective students, and enhancing hydrogen fuel cell performance. Additionally, Cristina worked as an Electrical Engineer at Solar Unsoiled, an intern at Amazon Web Services, and held various leadership positions in student organizations, including Scoop Durham and Pi Beta Phi Fraternity. Cristina holds a BSE in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus on Energy and the Environment from Duke University.
