Pelayo Alvarez is a Digital Content Specialist for Generation Unlimited at UNICEF since February 2024 and has been an Honorary Fellow at the Foreign Policy Association since June 2018. Previously, Pelayo served as Education and Cultural Diplomacy Manager at the United Nations Institute for Training & Research (UNITAR) from November 2015 to March 2024, where responsibilities included planning, implementing, and evaluating learning products, significantly increasing office activity. Earlier experience includes a Program Management Internship at the United Nations, supporting the development of the first database of Government Open Data for Latin America and Asia, and managing relationships with key international partners. Pelayo's career began in sales promotion with various companies from September 2011 to April 2015 and included an administrative internship at Residencia de Estudiantes Fernando Abril Martorell. Academically, Pelayo is pursuing a series on Conflict Resolution Mediation and Negotiation at Columbia Law School and holds a Master in Business Administration and Management as well as a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
