Frances Hisgen is a seasoned professional with expertise in China policy and foreign relations, currently serving as Senior Research Program Manager for the China's Global Sharp Power Project at The Hoover Institution, Stanford University. With a history of impactful roles including a NextGen Foreign Policy Initiative Fellow at Foreign Policy for America and a Harvard-UK Fellow at the University of Cambridge, Frances has a strong foundation in international relations and history. Previous experience includes teaching civics in Boston Public Schools, volunteer work for Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign, and internships focusing on U.S.-Hong Kong relations and community outreach for the New York Philharmonic. Frances holds an MPhil in World History from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor's degree in History from Harvard University.
