Indra Ekmanis, PhD is currently the Director of Institutional Giving & Development Communications at PRX. Prior to this role, Indra was the Program Director at West Coast Latvian Education Center, where Indra managed staff and students, marketed programs, liaised with officials, and developed curriculum. With a background in international studies and extensive experience in research and communications, Indra has also held roles such as Digital Editor at Public Radio International and Editor at the Ellison Center for Russian, East European and Central Asian Studies. Dr. Ekmanis holds a PhD in International/Global Studies, a Master of Arts in International Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and German.
