Joseph de Weck

Joseph de Weck is a seasoned professional in the fields of geopolitics and European affairs, currently serving as a Senior Fellow at Institut Montaigne and as Europe Director and Senior Advisor at Greenmantle. With a role as a Fellow in the European Security Initiative at the Foreign Policy Research Institute and as a columnist for Internationale Politik Quarterly at the German Council on Foreign Relations, Joseph de Weck contributes significant insights to European security discourse. Previous experience includes serving as a Brexit Advisor at the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, where significant coordination of Switzerland's financial market policy in relation to the EU took place, as well as roles at Bloomberg LP and various internships within European institutions. Joseph de Weck holds master's degrees in European Affairs and International Affairs and Governance from Sciences Po and the University of St.Gallen, respectively, and a Bachelor's degree in History and International Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
