Miro Popkhadze has a diverse background in international relations and national security studies. Currently working as a Fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute, Miro previously held roles at the Permanent Mission of Georgia to the United Nations and the Embassy of Georgia to the United States. With a PhD in International Relations and National Security Studies from Virginia Tech, Miro also holds a Master's degree in National Security Policy Studies from Elliott School of International Affairs. Graduating from Tbilisi State University with a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs, Miro has also received additional education and certifications from Suffolk University and Abshire-inomary Leadership Academy at CSIS.
