Alex Segura

Alex Segura is an experienced media professional currently serving as a Digital Host and Multimedia Specialist at Voice of America since February 2022. In addition, Alex holds the position of Board Member and Los Angeles Chair at the Association of Foreign Press Correspondents in the United States, focusing on advancing the role of foreign correspondents on the West Coast. Prior experience includes serving as a US Assistant Editor and correspondent for Agencia EFE, covering issues of relevance to the US Hispanic community, and roles at El Iberico, Diario Dicen, and Televisió de Catalunya specializing in sports, economic reporting, and editorial leadership. Alex holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, obtained in 2015.
