Matthew Levitas is a skilled toxicologist with extensive experience in forensic toxicology. Currently serving as a Toxicologist and Certifying/R&D Scientist at Forensic Fluids Laboratories since January 2022, Matthew has previously worked as a Forensic Toxicologist at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner from March 2017 to November 2021 and completed an internship in forensic toxicology at the Pretrial Services Agency for the District of Columbia from February 2016 to February 2017. Additional experience includes an undergraduate research assistant position at the University of Maryland from May 2014 to July 2015. Matthew holds a Master’s Degree in Forensic Toxicology from The George Washington University (2015-2017) and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Maryland (2011-2015).
