Marjolein Herweijer currently serves as a Senior Legislation Lawyer and Legal Advisor at the Ministerie van Justitie en Veiligheid since December 2020. Additionally, Marjolein holds roles as a committee member and chair of the complaints committee at Forensisch centrum Teylingereind since February 2020. Prior experience includes working as a legislation lawyer and interim sector head at Raad van State from October 2014 to December 2020, and as a staff member for Tijdschrift voor Familie- en Jeugdrecht from November 2016 to July 2020. Between August 2009 and September 2014, Marjolein was a member of the works council and advisor/section secretary for youth at Raad voor Strafrechtstoepassing en Jeugdbescherming.
