David Demiter has extensive work experience in engineering and management roles. David is currently the Director of Hardware Engineering at Foresight Sports since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Engineering Manager at Foresight Sports from February 2021 to October 2022. Before joining Foresight Sports, David worked as a Consultant at Wintriss Engineering Corporation from July 2020 to January 2021. David has also held various positions at Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, including Research Development Engineering Manager from November 2015 to June 2020. At Hexagon, they were responsible for the entire Engineering Group and developed the world's first 3D area scanner. David has also worked as an Engineering Manager at Wintriss Engineering Corporation from March 2006 to October 2015, specializing in Automated Industrial Inspection. Prior to that, they worked as an Electronics Engineer at Wintriss, focusing on camera designs, image processing, and board layout. David started their career as an Electro-Optical Engineer at Volution Inc. from July 1997 to November 2002, where they integrated cameras for automated inspection and developed image processing systems.
David Demiter earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from UC San Diego, completing their studies from 1994 to 1997. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. These include certifications in Executive Decision-Making and Executive Leadership from LinkedIn, obtained in April 2021 and June 2020 respectively. David also holds a certification in Cert Prep: PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) from LinkedIn, earned in May 2020. Further certifications include Body Language for Leaders in 2019, Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Machine Learning, Jeff Dyer on Innovation, and Strategic Thinking, all obtained in December 2018 from LinkedIn.
