Tuyen Diep began working at Ayerst Laboratories in 1980 as a Medical Researcher. In 1983, they joined Zwicker Electric Co. Inc. as a Project Engineer and remained with the company until 1991. In the same year, Tuyen joined Forest Electric as an Assistant VP and later became the Vice President of Engineering in 2012.
Tuyen Diep's education history began with their attendance at Lycee Charles De Gaulle in Saigon; however, the dates and details of this schooling are not provided. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biology at DeSales University from 1975 to 1976. Tuyen then transferred to St. John's University, where they continued studying Biology and completed their Bachelor's degree from 1976 to 1979. Lastly, they furthered their education by attending New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering from 1980 to 1985, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
