Andrea Mayley has a comprehensive work history in economic development and planning. Andrea began their career as a Planning Officer at Salisbury District Council in 1991, where they worked until 1996. Andrea then moved to East Cambridgeshire District Council as a Senior Planning Officer until 2002. Andrea joined St Edmundsbury Borough Council in 2002 as an Economic Development Manager and worked there for a decade. In 2012, they became the Head of Economic Development and Growth for Forest Heath District and St Edmundsbury Borough Councils. Currently, Andrea is employed as a Service Manager for Economic Development and Business Growth at West Suffolk Council since 2017.
Andrea Mayley attended Bristol Polytechnic where they pursued a degree in Town and Country Planning with a focus on Land Use Planning. Andrea then went on to enroll at the Polytechnic of Central London to further their studies in Urban Planning with a specialization in Land Use Planning. Prior to their higher education, Andrea attended Westwood St Thomas School in Salisbury, although their degree and field of study during this time is unknown.
