Julie Baird

Julie Baird has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the public and private sectors. Julie started their career as a Director at West Suffolk Council in April 2017, where they currently hold the position of Director Growth and Planning. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Development Management at South Cambridgeshire District Council from November 2015 to April 2017.

Julie's work experience also includes a role as a Change Management Consultant at South Cambridgeshire District Council from September 2013 to July 2015. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the implementation of a consultancy service providing specialist expertise to the planning service. Additionally, they acted as a project manager for scoping and establishing a shared building control service as part of a wider shared service agenda.

Before joining South Cambridgeshire District Council, Julie worked at R B Kingston from April 2009 to September 2011. Julie held the positions of Head of Planning & Growth from July 2010 to September 2011 and Service Manager Development Management from April 2009 to July 2010.

Julie started their career as a Director at TBM Consultants in 2007, where they held the role of Director until 2009.

Through their various roles, Julie Baird has gained extensive experience in growth and planning, development management, change management, and consultancy.

Julie Baird completed their Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in planning from the University of Strathclyde, where they attended from 1992 to 1996.
