Steven Fernandez is an experienced music educator and performer with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Western Michigan University. Since January 2016, Steven has served as an Intern Teacher at Forest Hills Public Schools, focusing on choral and orchestral music while fostering mentor relationships with students. Additionally, Steven has been a Counselor and Chamber Music Coach at MASTA String Camps since June 2013, specializing in double bass instruction. Previously, Steven performed as a double bassist with the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra from September 2014 to December 2015, and collaborated as a bassist at Centerpoint Church from June 2013 to December 2015, providing contemporary Christian worship music.
