Jamie Lewis has extensive experience in the field of history, currently serving as the Staff Historian at the Forest History Society since October 2003, where the role includes editing the magazine Forest History Today. Previously, Jamie held the position of Associate Editor for the Journal of Forestry from February 2011 to January 2017, focusing on forest history and facilitating the publication of articles across various professional disciplines. Additionally, Jamie was an Advisory Board member for the Theodore Roosevelt Association between October 2010 and October 2016, providing insights on submissions related to environmental history and the Roosevelt era. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in History from Florida State University (1992-2001), an MA in History from James Madison University (1988-1991), and a BS in History & Political Science from James Madison University (1983-1987).
